It’s been 17 years since the start of the community service summer fellowship program here at the AYA. In that 17 years over 400 students have come through this program. Six individual Yale alumni and 51 Yale clubs have participated over the years. Still, sometimes I am asked if this is a Yale program and some students are surprise that alumni are, or would even want to be, so involved with current students. So, in counsel with my directors we have agreed that to end all confusion about this program and its origins, and it has been newly renamed the Yale Alumni Community Service Fellowship.
